Description:WHAT WE'RE DOINGAt Lockheed Martin, we are at the forefront of developing advanced defense systems that enhance national security and global stability. Our Multi-Mission Air Defense Product Line is dedicated to creating cutting-edge radar and defense solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of our armed forces. We are looking for a dedicated Subcontract Program Manager (SPM) to lead our efforts in this critical area.THE WORKAs an SPM for the Multi-Mission Air Defense Product Line, you will oversee a range of subcontract activities, including Hardware/Software procurement, Facilities Design & Construction, and Engineering Services. Your key responsibilities will include:• Leading multidisciplinary Subcontract Management Teams to ensure positive performance in Technical, Cost, and Schedule domains.• Managing large and medium-sized subcontracts for complex systems, subsystems, and software across various radar development areas.• Directing a team of 2-4 direct reports and establishing action plans to ensure successful delivery of contracted materials by suppliers.• Negotiating new subcontracts and additional scope within established contracts, developing effective negotiation strategies.• Coordinating Program Reviews with subcontractors and reporting performance to senior Lockheed Martin Leadership.• Maintaining material and labor budgets with positive Earned Value Management System (EVMS) performance.• Identifying potential sources of supply and developing source selection strategies.• Ensuring subcontractor milestone payment plans align with Program expectations and plans.• Traveling to subcontractors or other Lockheed Martin sites as needed.• Reporting performance and program status to senior LM Leadership.• Ensuring material and labor budgets are maintained with positive EVMS performance.• Attending and participating in LM Corporate Program Assessment activities, BR's, PAR's, IPR's, etc.• Ensuring Lockheed Martin is well-positioned with an affordable materials/services solution to win new business/proposals.• Developing request for proposal documents, ensuring program flow-downs are maintained.• Evaluating proposals for content and quality, challenging subcontractors appropriately.• Executing source selection plans, communicating and justifying results to senior LM Leadership.• Participating in Corporate Proposal assessments and artifacts; INAR, EPP, Price Analysis, Exhibit 7.• Developing strong Subcontract Management Teams ensuring successful new program start-ups.WHO WE ARELockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company that delivers innovative solutions for the world’s most complex challenges. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.This position is incentive plan eligible.Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $135,800 - $256,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
