The organization is a Systems Engineering group responsible for oversight, development, coordination, and evaluation of new and existing testing.In this multifaceted role your responsibilities will include oversight of:• Missile system ground test (integrated electrical, mechanical, electromagnetic environmental effects, survivability, etc.)• Missile mock-up• Missile integration development lab (MIL) (provides world class missile test and evaluation capabilities for system-level electrical/functional testing, electromagnetic testing, and end-to-end missile flight simulation)• Qualification (ensure missile system remains in a qualified status through requalification assessment based on triggers such as changes in suppliers, designs, and manufacturing processes)• Evaluations programs including Service Life Evaluation (SLE), Production Assessment Test (PAT) and Destruct System Evaluation Program (DSEP)ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:• Program What-ifs/New Programs Planning & ROMs Budgetary Estimates• FBM Program/Project Proposals including Basis-Of-Estimate (BOE) generation• Employee management and evaluationThe selected individual will be responsible for all technical and programmatic (cost, schedule, staffing) aspects of the activities listed above.Learn more about Lockheed Martin’s comprehensive benefits package.Basic Qualifications:• Project lead experience to include: planning, proposals, budgets and/or schedules.• Test and test evaluation and integration experience• Secret clearance at start• Ability and desire to obtain a TOP-SECRET clearance which requires US Citizenship.Desired Skills:• Excellent verbal, written communication, and social skills.• Experience in a leadership position with formal roles and responsibilities.• Experiences with direct customer, management, peer and subordinate interaction resulting in positive outcomes while representing the role and company are highly desirable.• Experience generating Basis-Of Estimates (BOEs) and providing proposal support.• Knowledgeable in missile technologies including, but not limited to, missile systems/sub-system architecture and design.• Knowledge of the Trident II (D5) FBM Program• Experience with Navy SSP customer and associated contractors• Experience with government customer coordination and collaboration.• Existing Top Secret Clearance.Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: Top SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.This position is incentive plan eligible.Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $135,800 - $256,000.
