This individual will be responsible for creating user experiences on a variety of programs, as well as the Software Factories website. The UX designer will engage with users to collect data and inform design decisions. They will operate as part of DevOps software teams to create a User Experience runway and operate with agility in order to iterate on and improve designs based on user testing and feedback. Supporting software development could include providing UI/UX incites to stakeholders, eliciting requirements , designing webpage interactions, developing wireframes, curating mockups, creating interactive prototypes, prototyping workflows, and devising test dashboards.• Experience in graphic design, history of producing branding or imagery to support stakeholder requestsAbility to obtain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibilityPreference for this requisition will be given to Space Employees.Desired Skills:• Familiarity with modern UI/UX design tools such as Adobe XD or similar designing tool like Figma• Experience to guiding and coaching software development teams and leaders as a single designer• Experience facilitating workshops, and demonstrations of UX/UI artifacts• Experience managing multiple milestones and projects• Continued education and research into UX/UI trends and current design strategy and technology• Experience with a programming languages and tools such as React, Angular, HTML, CSS, Gitlab and/or Electron/Web Components• Experience with agile development methodologiesSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: TS/SCIOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
