If so, we want to meet you!So what's the job?We're looking for a passionate multi-faceted Live Action professional to join our team of visual creatives to produce cinematic and documentary-style, marketing, promotional, and social media films/videos. The person we seek must be passionate about visual storytelling, can work as part of a team or as a one-person crew, and has proven success with effective, creative ways of communicating.Who would you work with?The Live Action candidate will report to the Visual Communication Manager. The candidate will work closely with the Live Action Team lead, the team of Producer/Directors/Editors and the larger Communications team to create visual content that shapes the brand messaging for Lockheed Martin Space.You're the right person for this job if ...You're a strong storyteller with 1+ years of experience that:• Influence people's thinking• Motivate people to act• Match or exceed the production quality of the typical media/content people consumeThe person we're looking for has experience with:• Digital video production, digital workflows, motion graphics, video post-production, and producing for social media platforms• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time• Working alongside digital creatives (producers/directors, videographers, graphic designers, animators, photographers, and vendor artists)• Operates a variety of standard and special-purpose digital cameras in support of company/client requirements.• Researches, prepares, and produces videos for marketing, training, documentation, and other communicative purposes for both internal and external audiences.• Acts as a strategic thinker and trusted advisor, consulting with stakeholders to assess appropriate medium, create product concepts, plan production, produce video to include scriptwriting, location scouting, shot selection, video capture, video editing, sound design, digital effect creation, and video archiving.Demo reel required and link should be included either on resume or cover letter.Basic Qualifications:To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education• Core knowledge of video capture/editing, codecs, technology, and workflow as well as essential production skills - composition, focus, color, ISO, etc.• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance , to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Please note:No clearance is required to apply or prior to start.Desired Skills:To be successful, ideally, you should also have:• Familiarity with multiple production ecosystems (Sony, Canon, Panasonic, etc.)• High level knowledge and skills in video editing software and workflow• Industry knowledge about current production offerings• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and shot composition• Experience working in studio environments/on location• Experience with social media distribution channels• Ability to work under strict deadlinesPLEASE NOTE-Other important information:• By applying to this role, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities, within Lockheed Martin, where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.• Should this match be identified you may be contacted for this and future openings.• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Benefits of Employment:Our employees play an active role in strengthening the quality of life where we live and work by volunteering more than 850,000 hours annually.Learn more about Lockheed Martin's competitive and comprehensive benefits package here.To promote the sharing of ideas, Lockheed Martin champions an inclusive work environment that urges differences and big-picture thinking.We are creating a better today and tomorrow by seamlessly aligning diversity and inclusion efforts with Lockheed Martin's values and business strategy. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $55,100 - $105,800 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
