Skills

• Working knowledge of information security best practices such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR.
• Professional security certification such as CISA, CISM, CDPSE, CISSP.
• Regulatory industry knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, SOC2, ISO27001/2, and NIST.
• Understanding of internal controls environments driving compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop key compliance programs covering applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Provide expertise in creating and implementing enterprise programs, policies, and procedures.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate control requirements.
• Develop, implement, and oversee enforcement of security policies.
• Collaborate with technology architects to define and implement security processes based on industry best practices.
• Conduct audits on systems and hosting third-party audits to achieve certifications.
• Prepare client reporting, information for prospects, and marketing materials.
• Provide training and assistance with complex security and compliance issues.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a technology-related field such as Cyber Security, Business Technology, or Computer Science.
