The Supply Chain Director plays a critical role in managing all aspects of supply chain operations, including inventory management, receiving, transportation/logistics, material planning, procurement, and contract negotiation. This person will be responsible for ensuring material availability to meet production schedules and optimizing supply chain processes to reduce cost and lead times. Additionally, this role involves developing supplier relationships, overseeing subcontracting activities, and implementing best practices in supply chain management.

About This Role:
  • Design and implement comprehensive processes for all aspects of warehouse and stockroom operations across a multi-subsidiary company.
  • Develop the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process, and work across organizations to define the timing and content of inputs/outputs from the process.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with preferred suppliers, negotiating contracts to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Oversee transportation and logistics operations, including inbound product tracking, supplier returns, and shipping and receiving capabilities.
  • Facilitate the integration and continuation of cross-training programs to promote team cohesion, efficiency, and employee growth.
  • Create and analyze supply chain key performance indicators, providing reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing and growing teams within supply chain operation to meet company commitments and overall demand. 
  • Engage in day-to-day tactical operations and decision-making to ensure continuity between teams/functions towards shared goals.
  • Establish and implement overall vision and strategy for supply chain operations at Loft, and partner with upstream and downstream teams to address pain points and drive process improvements.
  • Develop, deploy and monitor processes across supply chain functions to ensure accuracy, transparency and efficiency.


Must Haves:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, with a strong understanding of logistics, warehouse, and fulfillment processes.
  • Solid negotiation skills with a track record of developing and managing supplier agreements.
  • Familiarity with MRP processes and production planning methodologies.
  • Experience in managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • 10+ years of supply chain experience within an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
  • A strong problem-solving orientation and the ability to manage complex projects effectively.


Nice to Haves:
  • Experience creating and executing logistics and warehouse strategies.
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or technology sectors, with specific knowledge of subcontracting and supplier quality management.
  • Background in data analysis tools and methodologies to enhance supply chain performance.

$175,000 - $200,000 a year
State law requires us to tell you the base compensation range for this role, which is $175,000- $200,000 per year in Colorado which is determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.  The salary range for this role is intentionally wide as we evaluate individuals based on their unique experience and abilities to fit our needs.
