OnsiteRaytheon Intelligence, and Space is seeking a successful candidate to be responsible for ensuring overall logistics and inventory management of Government, Customer, and Raytheon owned property in compliance with commercial, contractual requirements, regulations, procedures, and public law for a government contract. This individual will be responsible for the receipt, induction, record management, maintenance, and disposition of all property. The individual will also be required to package and ship as needed to support the program. This position requires working on multiple assignments to perform and support research, audits, analysis, and system transactions by creating, reviewing, approving, and correcting property records, reports, and systems. Initial and periodic inventory of property is required. This position may require frequent interfacing with internal and external customers on property issues, processes, and systems. This position is located in Richardson, TX.
The candidate will perform multiple logistical and tasks with an emphasis on government property and inventory management. This position requires learning, researching, knowing, and applying knowledge of Government property regulations, particularly Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). This position supports multiple government customers requiring knowledge of different contractual requirements.
Requirements:
This position requires the individual to be on site each day.
Knowledge of basic to intermediate packaging, shipping and the utilization of material handling equipment (MHE)
Ability to research, retrieve information and perform transactions in various business systems utilized by Logistics and Property Management.
Must have ability to lift 28 pounds unaided.
Desired Skills:
Current working experience with government property.
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.245-1, the Government Property Clause, and a basic understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal agencies doing business with a defense contractor. This includes familiarity with and experience with the property outcomes.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently with minor supervision
Ability to engage multiple audiences including engineering, program management, functional support, and higher organizations
