Logistics & Scheduling Specialist - DP

Responsible for scheduling movement of feedstocks for DGD renewable diesel plants by vessel, rail or truck and maintains inventory positions for assigned areas by balancing market demand and sales with available supply.

• Schedules feedstock movements via barge, pipeline, truck, ship, or rail and ensures correct type, quantity, and timing of the load/unload activity.
• Coordinates with feedstock producers, vessel operators and local customs authorities to ensure cargoes operations are conducted in accordance with company policy and in the most efficient manner possible.
• Coordinates with feedstock producers to ensure all the correct compliance, customs and shipping documents are received in a timely manner and recorded correctly.
• Communicates with traders, refinery personnel, wholesale, terminal operators, and logistics operators to develop a schedule.
• Nominates and supports actualizing and documenting movements in SAP.
• Proactively adjusts the schedule when conflicting objectives disrupt planned movements.
• Understands contractual requirements and manage secondary costs to move products in the most cost efficient manner.
• Accrues and tracks secondary costs accurately in SAP/MTS.
• Assists in feedstock procurement on occasion.

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.

• High School diploma or GED required
• A minimum of five plus years of scheduling and procurement experience required
• Basic skill in using Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word and Excel) required
