Overview:
Use your skills to provide administrative support to the logistics, shipping, and transportation teams to help coordinate the daily operations of Esri warehouse facility. Play a key role in ensuring shipments are transported in accordance with delivery requirements, customer specifications; and U.S. and foreign regulations. Your strong coordination, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills will be critical to your success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming shipments, document inventory, and resolve customer service issues

Assist with documentation preparation for product and corporate material shipments

Package and label materials to ensure labeling compliance for domestic and international shipping ft, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 40lbs

Process customer orders using common parcel carriers or multi-carrier manifesting software (UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS)

Palletize, band, and label shipments for proper transporting of goods

Generate commercial invoices for foreign customs clearance and duty assessment

Provide flight details and tracking information to consignees

Perform Ship Desk matrix and create pick tickets/transfer orders from SAP ERP system; liaise with Customer Service for transfer order creation and troubleshooting; satisfy recordkeeping requirements and accurate data entry metrics, reporting and compliance

Work with sensitive information and maintain a level of confidentiality

Input data and maintain transactional records, scan paper copies into digital storage and file completed transactions into various computer systems and databases

Communicate clearly to interface with freight forwarders, couriers, and international distributors; and provide timely status updates

Processing claims for the lost and/or damaged goods through carrier sites

Troubleshoot and resolve shipment issues by tracking, rerouting, and/or scheduling/rescheduling shipments
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in domestic and international shipments

Attention to detail and good time management skills
-
Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment

Possess communication, organization, and teamwork skills
-
Familiar with or knowledgeable with shipping processes and metrics

Knowledge of appropriate procedures for handling stock, especially fragile stock

Knowledge and experience with office products

Ability to track, trouble shoot and analyze problems

Ability to operate forklift/stock picker to move items around a warehouse

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

All other tasks as assigned by the manager

High School diploma or equivalent
Recommended Qualifications:
- Current or previous California OSHA forklift certification

Knowledge of hazardous material or E-waste and OSHA requirements

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the base pay range is $17.50 - $25.00.
