The Value You Will Add
: The Supply Chain Management Intern will be responsible for reviewing current processes and provide improvement ideas/recommendations aimed at increasing efficiencies and deliver cost savings. The role will have a strong collaborative communication between various functions throughout the organization including but not limited to: NP&PD, Operations, Planning and Finance with the intent of developing tools and solutions to aid in streamlining decision making criteria.



The Location: Lindt (USA) is based in Stratham, NH. Our employees live and work just minutes from local beaches, skip over to Massachusetts or Maine for weekend outings, and enjoy hundreds of restaurants, boutiques, theaters and breweries in neighboring Portsmouth, NH.


The Skills That Will Make You Successful in This Role:


Required, but not limited to



  • A basic understanding of supply chain needed

  • Strong computer skills preferably with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required

  • Must be capable of multi-tasking while keeping attention to detail

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work on teams

  • Demonstrated ability to complete projects on schedule following established procedures

  • Ability to foster and maintain solid professional relationships internally and externally

  • Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Be a Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited University Degree Program -

  • Demonstrated proficiency with a computer and with MS software

  • Process and results orientated

  • Team focused and collaborative

  • Ability to operate effectively and professionally in stressful situations

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Proficient in Excel and Word

  • Must have solid written and verbal communication skills


Preferred


  • A focus in Logistics or Supply Chain or Business Analytics
