AV Support Engineer

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Video Collaboration (VC) & Telecom, the Audio Video (AV) Support Engineer will support, manage and maintain Logitech's Meeting Rooms and All Hands Spaces, as well as provide end user, event and customer opportunity support.

The AV Engineer will have the opportunity to work with the latest Logitech Hardwares and Softwares and engage closely with product teams, Engineering and global IT teams.

The AV Support Engineer will work closely with our Network, InfoSec, EEPS (Employee Experience and Productivity Services) , Platform Services and Business Group (BG) Teams.

  • Manage and maintain Logitech's Meeting Room Deployment

  • Install & Maintain Meeting Room/AV Hardware from small rooms up to All Hands spaces.

  • Design, install, and configure AV systems. This will include our multi-use space, video conferencing systems, digital signage, sound systems, and other related equipment.

  • Provide expert-level support for AV systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly.

  • Work with Video Collaboration Business Group to test new products and troubleshoot issues

  • Prepare and maintain our AV Inventory

  • Develop and maintain AV standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and company requirements.

  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality AV solutions.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.

  • Support Live Events with Technical needs for Webinars and Large Calls

  • Evaluate new AV products and technologies, conduct pilot tests and provide recommendations for adoption.

  • Maintain the AV and Hardware needs for our Customer Experience Centre, responding to customer specific setups in collaboration with Sales teams

  • Actively participate in the team meeting, share ideas and problems and solutions found.


Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviours to our team:

  • Strong Software and OS Knowledge

  • Windows Troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with Zoom, Google or O365 admin

  • Knowledge of AV System administration

  • Good hardware install, cabling and troubleshooting knowledge

  • Strong troubleshooting skills, bug finding, and resolution

  • Good awareness of various VC Tools, Teams, Zoom, Hangouts, Webex etc

  • AV Design Experience

  • Great communication skills, comfortable working across multiple teams of varying technical skills

  • Fluent in English


Education:

  • 4 Year Degree or Equivalent Experience

  • 3+ Years Work Experience installing, maintaining and supporting AV 

  • Hands on Experience of AV and Live Event Support.

  • AV Hardware and Software Platform Experience( Teams/Zoom )

  • Vendor Management experience

This position offers an annual base salary typically between $ 79,000 and $ 100,000.   In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
