Financial Analyst

Long Home Products, a leader in the home renovation industry has an opening for a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join our Corporate Team.

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to provide insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic guidance to support effective decision making throughout our company.

Conduct Financial Analysis to evaluate company performance, identify trends, and highlight areas of improvement

Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning

Prepare month end lender reporting with actual versus plan analysis

Collaborate with leadership to gather relevant data and insight

Stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions to inform financial planning

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports/presentations for Senior leadership

Identify and assess financial risks, recommending mitigation strategies to protect private equity owner investment.

Identify opportunities for cost optimization through analysis of key financial metrics

Monitor and evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives and provide recommendations for profitability and growth

Assist with finance duties as requested by Management 

Qualifications include:

Bachelors Degree in accounting or finance

Minimum of three years experience n accounting or finance role in a Corporate environment  or two years of public accounting.

Significant experience with Sage Intacct is a huge positive

Significant experience with SalesForce is a huge positive

Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUPS, Pivot tables, etc.)

Ability to create Excel models from scratch

Experience reconciling balance sheet accounts, entering journal entries, and month-end close

Public accounting experience desired but not required

Assist with year end audit

Positive energy and ability to work collaboratively with a small staff
