Roofing Sales Trainer

Position Overview: As a Sales Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our sales teams in the roof, windows, or bath division. Your expertise and leadership will empower our sales representatives to excel in consultative selling, customer engagement, and product knowledge. You will design, deliver, and facilitate training programs that equip our salesforce with the skills and tools they need to exceed targets and provide unparalleled customer experiences.

 

Who is the right candidate: Perhaps you come from the industry and were a top sales rep and looking to give back to individuals and transition from a commission role into a salary role.  Perhaps you are currently a trainer and looking for a company that offers more of a family-feel type of culture. Or maybe you have worked for a manufacturer of windows, roofs, or baths and know the products in and out!

 

Key Responsibilities:

-Learn Long’s 10-step selling program and ensure all new recruits thoroughly understand and are confident in presenting to a homeowner

-Develop and deliver engaging sales training programs tailored to the roof, windows, or bath division.

-Coach and mentor sales representatives on effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and objection handling.

-Collaborate with sales managers to identify training needs and areas for improvement.

-Monitor sales performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team results.

-Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product updates, and sales methodologies.

 

Qualifications:

-Proven experience in sales, preferably within the home improvement or related industry.

-Knowledge of a 1-call close system

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Training or coaching experience is a plus.

-Passion for driving results and helping others succeed.

-Adaptability and willingness to learn about our products and industry.

-Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
