We are looking for a detail-oriented full time Fleet and Equipment Mechanic. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment. You will be a key member of our team by ensuring the proper operation of vehicles and equipment, while also completing repairs.

What You'll Be Doing- Periodically examine vehicles/equipment for wear and tear as well as proper operation.
- Complete mechanical and cosmetic repairs and maintenance on light duty vehicles such as cars and trucks.
- Perform cosmetic and mechanical repairs along with maintenance on heavy duty vehicles including diesel vehicles.
- Work on vehicle booms/hydraulics including maintenance on hydraulic pumps, controls, and wiring - along with completing necessary repairs.
- Repair various trailers such as dump trailers and reel trailers.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy duty equipment including directional drills.
- Performing facilities maintenance and repair tasks.
- Assisting our construction and field operations teams when necessary.
- Responding to vehicle and equipment break down in the field.
- Determining necessary parts for conducting repairs and sourcing them from various suppliers
Education and Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience working as a mechanic
- Experience working with and general understanding hydraulic systems
- Experience working on vehicle/equipment wiring
- Experience working on and repairing heavy duty and diesel vehicles
- Experience working on heavy duty tools such as directional drilling equipment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to bend and lift materials and parts up to 75 pounds from floor level to a height of 6 feet to place them on shelves or on and off vehicles
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work in various temperature conditions
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
$24 - $36 an hour
