Loopio is looking for a Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst II to add to our growing team! In this role, you will be critical to ensuring prudent risk management and compliance practices are in place and effectively working.
The GRC Analyst will play a critical role in supporting Loopio’s governance, risk management, and compliance efforts. This role involves identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and implementing governance frameworks. The GRC Analyst will work closely with various departments (including Legal, IT, Product and Sales) to align their activities with the organization's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Be Doing- Help review and update information security policies and procedures
- Respond to third-party requests, including customer questions, related to Loopio’s information security infrastructure and compliance activities in a timely manner
- Perform risk assessments and business impact analysis on new vendors, technologies and system implementations
- Coordinate and track information technology and security-related audits and assessments
- Arrange meetings with Loopio’s auditors and other stakeholders
- Work with Loopio’s external auditors as needed
- Assist with ensuring Loopio’s continued compliance with all applicable requirements, policies, and regulations
What You'll Bring to the Team- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of previous experience in governance, risk management, and/or compliance in a technical, or administrative capacity
- A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards, including the SOC and ISO frameworks
- A proactive mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing environment and an ability to multitask while understanding priorities
- Impeccable oral and written communication skills, ability to introduce complex information in an engaging way
- Familiarity using systems such as macOS, AWS, Linux, and Scripting
- Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), CGEIT, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) are preferred.
Where You'll Work- Loopio is a remote-first workplace because we recognize the advantages of working flexibly. We have Hub Regions spanning across Canada, UK, and India, which means that employees live and work remotely within a 300 KM radius of Toronto (within Ontario),Vancouver (within British Columbia), Ahmedabad (within Gujarat), Pune (within Maharashtra), and London (UK) and work within regular business hours in their timezone.
