What You Will DoJoin our dynamic team as an HR Workforce Analytics Specialist, where you'll play a key role in helping managers and organizations at the Laboratory make informed decisions about compensation, performance management, and workforce issues. You'll use your expertise in statistical techniques to develop a wide range of HR analytics, guiding management decisions across various HR disciplines. Your proactive approach will involve researching and identifying trends and patterns within the LANL workforce, and using quantitative metrics to craft and recommend strategies that support effective decision-making.What you'll do:• Develop statistical predictive models and analyze hiring, attrition, and related processes.• Create insightful reports using SQL, R, and MicroStrategy for use across LANL.• Communicate analysis results and recommendations to all levels of LANL management in an engaging way.What You NeedMinimum Job Requirements:• Showcase your talent for mining and extracting workforce and HR data from multiple sources, analyzing and interpreting it, and transforming it into actionable insights.• Interpret and communicate your analyses to managers, turning complex data into clear, actionable information.• Bring your programming experience in R to manipulate and analyze data, utilizing techniques such as regression analysis, factor analyses, SEM, ANOVA, multivariate analysis, and data visualization.• Display your skills in relational database management and support, with proficiency in MS SQL and Oracle.• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of MS Access, MS Excel, and SQL Server.• Partner with customers to define and clarify needs, and effectively address issues with key stakeholders.• Apply strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and a customer service mindset.• Maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information.• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, presenting findings to diverse audiences in an engaging manner.Desired Qualifications:• Expertise in the design and execution of survey research.• Experience using MicroStrategy applications.• Knowledge of HR Information SystemsEducation:Requires a bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 8 years related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.Work Environment:Work Location:The work location for this position is telework and is located in Los Alamos, NM Telework is defined as working from offsite but within 2hours ground commute of this location. Reporting onsite may be periodically necessary.
