Their exceptional skills in listening to customers and using their knowledge to help them make the right decisions has a direct impact on the Lowe's brand's reputation.The role of a Home Improvement Customer Service Representative varies depending on the division they are assigned to. These divisions include Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Fashion Plumbing, Outlet, Tool Rental, Pro, or Windows & Walls. Candidates interested in becoming a Customer Service Associate are considered for each of these areas based on their abilities and hiring needs.Travel Requirements:Although regular travel isn't expected for this role, there may be times when the job necessitates travel to attend meetings, trainings, or provide assistance to other nearby stores.What sets us apart: We differentiate ourselves from our competitors by employing innovative strategies, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and incorporating cutting-edge technology to enhance the customer experience:• Hourly Employment Options: Choose between Full Time or Part Time, with 39 to 40 hours per week for the former, and up to 25 hours per week for the latter, although additional hours may occasionally be required.• The ideal candidate should have flexible availability, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, any day of the week.• Aptitude to perform job responsibilities that involve long hours of standing, sitting, or other strenuous physical tasks.• CSAs working in the Greeter department (only in certain stores) need to have the ability to lift 10 pounds without any assistance, while they may need assistance to lift anything exceeding the weight limit.• All departments excluding the Greeter departments require CSAs to have a basic lifting capacity of 25 pounds unaided. Additional lifting beyond 25 pounds may be performed with or without support.To achieve success, you must have clear goals and a plan to achieve them. This will keep you focused and motivated:Minimum Qualifications:• A half-year of practice utilizing computer technology, which involves recording, retrieving, editing, or presenting data.• Utilized smartphones and tablets frequently in a retail work environment, gaining over six months' worth of knowledge and experience with these commonly used tools.• An essential requirement for the job is the ability to acquire any necessary sales-related licensure or registration dictated by law.Preferred Qualifications:• In my role, I have been responsible for identifying the needs of customers and recommending various products that can meet their requirements.
