About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Culinary Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all catering needs, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction. You will handle everything from menu planning and vendor management to on-site event coordination. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, highly organized, and has a strong attention to detail.


Responsibilities
  • Event Coordination:
  • Plan and execute catering events from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Create detailed event timelines and ensure adherence to schedules. 

Menu Development:
  • Design and develop innovative, customized menus based on client preferences, event themes, and dietary restrictions.
  • Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and integrate them into menu planning
  • Collaborate with clients and event planners to ensure menu selections align with event goals.
Vendor Management:
  • Source and manage relationships with food suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost-effective sourcing of ingredients.
  • Ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients for each event.
Client Interaction:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding catering needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns promptly.
  • Conduct post-event follow-ups to gather feedback and ensure client satisfaction. 
Logistics and Setup:
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of catering events.
  • Ensure all health and safety standards are met. 
Budget Management:
  • Manage catering budgets.
  • Track expenses and ensure events are delivered within budget constraints.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • Certification in food safety or catering management. 


$42,000 - $45,000 a year
