Location

This position is full time in Chattanooga, TN, in the heart of the industrial area that keeps Adorama, an employer of choice, for all staff levels at this facility. The Chattanooga facility is the company’s largest at 230,000 square feet!

Job Summary

We are seeking a shipping department LTL associate to become an integral part of our team! You will inspect and coordinate outgoing goods and shipment activities. This is a multi-tasking position. The ideal Candidate will be aggressive about completing daily tasks. We require the ability to work between numerous departments and build relationships with our carriers. This person will be able to drive results and hold various leaders in other departments accountable to the Teams goals. This person will use email, and Microsoft Teams as tools to coordinate between departments, with vendors, and within our organization across the country.

· Experience with UPS WorldShip is a plus.

· Hours vary between: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday - Friday

What you bring!

· Ability to work hours between 8:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Sunday - Friday. Overtime is sometimes required with proper advance notice and during peak seasonal orders.

· Ability to stand on your feet for the duration of your shift in a climate-controlled environment

· Ability to use a computer with workflow software and email

· Ability to read and write in English and basic communication skills via phone and in-person

· Reliable transportation to get to and from work

· Experience with handling apparel or multiple SKU items and reading tickets with a lot of detail

· Experience with USPS, UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipments

· Inspect, package, label, and ship merchandise

· Arrange appropriate transportation of products

· Assist with all packaging and shipping inquiries

· Perform other tasks and duties in other departments, as assigned

· Strong organizational skills, accuracy with reading work orders, and entering data into our software

· Forklift certification is required. This can be completed in-house if needed.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and ask for help with larger items!

· Pay starts at $18 per hour.
