Merchandising Specialist

Job Overview

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of high-end jewelry through the repair and new design process. In this role, you will report to the Merchandising Director and ultimately be responsible for inventory management. You will also work closely with our Sales, Production, Workshop and Inventory teams and be responsible for accurate inventory reporting to ensure that the right products are available at the right times. Your success in this role will be ensuring a seamless and remarkable experience throughout the repair and design process. 

About the Role

• Maintain organized records of all repair requests, tracking progress, and updating the repair status in the inventory system
• Serve as a liaison between Sales, Production, and Workshop teams, maintaining clear communication during repairs, including status and pricing updates
• Examine incoming repairs and design requests and follow up with requestor if needed to ensure package is complete
• Collaborate with the production teams and Merchandising Director to provide accurate cost estimates
• Produce and analyze key business data, including retail reports, sales plans, and stock analysis as needed
• Collaborate with the Director to identify product needs and trends in the market
• Provide regular inventory reporting to Director to ensure optimal stock and prevent overstocking or shortages

What You Bring to the Team

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Experience in a similar role with procurement, buying and/or inventory management responsibilities
• Luxury retail industry experience is highly preferred 
• Strong desire and aptitude to take on new opportunities and challenges with a sense of urgency, energy, and enthusiasm
• Demonstrated success in building strong relationships and driving focused solutions
• Ability to find a path to YES by consistently achieving results, even under challenging circumstances
• Proficient and skilled at using various technology stacks (MS Office, CRM, etc.) and ability to utilize technology as a tool to process information, analyze data and stay organized
• Proven history of demonstrating follow through on commitments and building trust and confidence with your colleagues

Pay Transparency

Targeted base compensation is $70,000 per year plus annual bonus. The total compensation package is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Our workplace is clean, orderly, appropriately lighted and ventilated with the proper safety compliance.
