Join us by applying now!Position Objective:The Human Resources Business Partner is a liaison to the centers of excellence within human resources to perform professional human resources related duties for assigned business units in the areas of coaching management, policy interpretation, organizational structure/design and analyzing HR trends and metrics. Develops and implements effective people management practices; transfers requests and solutions to/from the business units in collaboration with HR Department centers of excellence; and as a key business partner has deep knowledge of, and is dedicated to, the needs and goals of assigned business units.Essential Job Duties:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions• Serves as single point of contact for human resource related issues for all employees and leadership in assigned business units, collaborating with HR specialty units as necessary. The HR Business Partner regularly consults with management, attends relevant business meetings, and provides daily human resources guidance.• Proactively supports the delivery of HR processes and practices in concert with business unit leadership, and manages complex and difficult projects cross-functionally.• Provides direction and consultation to leadership with people management issues including retention/engagement; rewards programs; compensation/incentives; coaching; dealing with unsatisfactory performance; development of growth plans; problem solving; and disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.• In conjunction with employee relations consultants, responds to and investigates employee concerns regarding policy interpretation and application, allegations of discrimination/harassment, and disputes regarding disciplinary actions and terminations. Prepares reports based on findings of investigation and maintains all pertinent documents/data.• Provides direction to leadership in the creation of job descriptions and organizational structure.• Applies basic compensation principles to assist with questions/concerns and to maintain equity, develop hiring guidelines/matrixes, and works with the Compensation and Organization Development teams to develop career progression.• Interprets and educates management on policy and procedures. Works with Employee Relations consultant to provide policy input and health system alignment. Knowledge of relevant state and federal laws, practices, and guidelines.• Compiles and analyzes statistical data/reports to aid in business decisions regarding turnover, leave management, employee engagement/wellbeing & staffing.Educational/Experience Requirements:• BA/BS Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field is required.• Five to eight years progressively responsible HR professional with experience in several areas of human resources to include recruitment, compensation and benefits, and organizational development.• Prior physician practice experience for the CE, preferred• Prior inpatient hospital experience, preferredRequired License/Certifications:• Advanced degree in above fields and PHR/SPHR preferred.• Healthcare experience preferred.Working Conditions, Equipment, Physical Demands:There is a reasonable expectation that employees in this position will not be exposed to blood-borne pathogens.Physical Demands -Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
