Team overview:

The Creative Strategist plays a crucial role in bridging the Media and Creative teams within the agency. This role is responsible for leading creative strategy, testing, and performance analysis. By using data-driven insights and storytelling, the Creative Strategist communicates the effectiveness and impact of our creative efforts directly to clients, helping them understand the tangible benefits of our services.

What You’ll Do:

  • Leadership on Creative Initiatives

    • Develops and leads creative strategy, encompassing the briefing, creation, and analysis of evergreen asset development across all client accounts. 

    • Translates complex data into clear, compelling narratives that demonstrate the impact of our creative strategies to clients.

  • Testing and Optimization

    • Create and implement testing roadmaps and strategic plans tailored to individual client needs. 

    • Manage a budget allocated specifically for creative testing, ranging from 10% to 20% of total spend, scheduling testing flights and ensuring efficient use of resources to maximize campaign effectiveness. 

  • Performance Analysis and Reporting

    • Generate detailed Motion reports to assess which creative themes resonate best and why, tailoring future creative efforts to these insights. 

    • Use consumer behavior metrics to refine creative messaging, addressing specific pain points identified through data, such as adjusting creative elements to improve urgency and conversion rates. 

    • Produce agency-wide reports that highlight creative successes, trends by vertical, and optimal strategies for ad spend and ad set configuration. 

  • Strategic Collaboration and Support

    • Collaborate across teams to integrate messaging and strategies in multi-channel and omni-channel campaigns, ensuring consistency and coherence in all client communications. 

    • Provide strategic input to enhance launch strategies, focusing on messaging, positioning, and the incorporation of promotional offers. 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum 4 years experience in creating digital product ads for social media platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube

  • Direct Response Marketing or Copywriting experience.

  • Digital portfolio showcasing past digital work, including examples for CPG and eCommerce brands and products

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership

  • Experience collaborating with media buyers, video editors, designers, and developers.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform decision-making for creative performance

  • Experience using Motion for creative analysis and reporting

  • Experience with the Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager platforms

  • Capable of providing constructive internal feedback and guiding team members to improve their work.

  • Ability to tackle ambiguous problems, understand business challenges, design solutions, and execute them effectively.

  • A creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for exploring new ideas and strategies in the digital content space.

  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

To note: This role is Hybrid (3 days in office at our NYC HQ)
