LSSI is hiring a full-time Benefits Coordinator Specialist. Responsible for the overall administration of Benefits and processing.

Essential Functions:
- Assist with the maintenance of employee benefit files, maintain group benefits database, and update employee records.
- Gather employee data and oversee the processing of monthly billings and the preparation of vouchers for payment of administrative fees for all group plans.
- Assist with day-to-day benefits administration and processing.
- Receive incoming calls and address Benefit Support emails.
- Collect and track co-pays, payments, and reimbursements.
- Assist with the initial paperwork and information gathering.
- Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment.
- Prepare funding requests for FSA/HAS.
- Oversee the ongoing enrollments into the benefit plans and processes changes as needed.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of related and progressive experience in the areas of Benefits or Human Resources required.
- Associates degree in related field preferred.
- Background check clearance required.
- CPP certification, and/or SHRM certification preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience in the area of Benefits or Human Resources required.
- Prior experience using Ceridian Dayforce preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive data with discretion.
- Experience meeting internal and external customer expectations, maintaining effective relationships by gaining and giving trust and respect, and a strong professional presence.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, resourceful, creative, highly dependable, efficient, and detailed oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organization, presentation and pc/computer skills, including strong experience using V-look Up and Pivot Tables in Excel, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
- Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
- Access to reliable transportation required.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
