Prevention Services Supervisor

Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI), is a leading not-for-profit organization providing healing, justice and wholeness to people and communities. LSSI is hiring a full-time Supervisor, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Under the direction of the Program Director or designee, oversee prevention services to youth and their families in designated communities within agency policy.

Essential Functions:  
  • Oversee and assist with prevention activities, per grant requirements. 
  • Provide direct supervision to assigned Prevention Specialists. 
  • Complete annual staff evaluations.
  • Complete and submit all necessary reports and documentation accurately and on time.
Position Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field is required; Master’s degree is preferred. 
  • Two years of experience working with youth preferred.
  • Experience providing prevention services.
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
  • Position requires valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage.
  • A valid IL state driver’s license in good standing is required.
