The Sr. Marketing Operations Manager is a vital role on the AWS Americas Marketing Operations team. In this role, you will work closely across AWS Americas Marketing teams and global marketing to continuously improve processes, drive execution excellence, and deliver marketing results. You will have direct responsibility for marketing operations program management, budget oversight, cross team communications, and team centralization projects. This is a data-driven role that has the opportunity to influence marketing programs and the type of data the team looks at to make strategic decisions. This role also has the ability to improve how the Americas Marketing organization performs by developing policies, programs, training, and processes to increase team productivity, return on investment, and execution quality.Key job responsibilities• Support Americas Partner Marketing in goal setting, budget and headcount management, and marketing efficiency tracking, ensuring KPIs are in-place to measure success• Act as Chief of Staff to the Director of AMER Partner Marketing• A team player comfortable and motivated working in a collaborative environment with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders• Ensure interlock between marketing and sales on goals, strategy and programs, and help build a culture rooted in collaboration and aligned objectives• Write narratives that clearly breakdown our business problems with the support of data and provide recommendations for solutions• Build reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com, Tableau, and QuickSight to provide visibility into marketing results and effectiveness• Use models to predict trends, identify issues, and forecast future goal attainment• Provide ad hoc reporting in response to management requests• Act as the primary owner of the team’s central communications plan• Build a tracking and reporting structure for managing the team’s annual budget and periodically report out on operational spend against forecast to ensure there are no overages or underspending• Train new employees and drive team adoption of tools and reporting sources, and operational processesBasic Qualifications• 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements• Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)• Experience communicating results to senior leadership• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements• Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadershipPreferred Qualifications• Experience managing accounting/finance process improvement and/or technology projects with aggressive schedulesAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
