Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Retention product group; where progress, and humility are valued as highly as technical excellence.

We are seeking someone with a focus on developing machine learning infrastructure, advanced ML modelling, and monitoring tools. Ideally with a background in both software engineering and data science, enabling you to build scalable ML pipelines, create advanced monitoring systems, and develop robust machine learning models. It would be a real bonus if you had expertise in credit scoring/decisioning models .

This is a fully remote role, within the following time zone (UTC -1 / UTC+3). Our engineers work remotely from locations such as UK, Europe and Africa. You will be reporting to the group Engineering Manager.

Expertise in the following would really highlight your suitability

  • Python

  • Proficient in popular machine learning frameworks for time series data, including:

    • scikit-learn

    • LightGBM

    • XGBoost

  • Experienced with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) frameworks.

  • Skilled in monitoring models in production environments.

  • Proficient in Python and experienced with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).

  • Familiar with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestrators (Airflow).

  • Well-versed in MLOps best practices.

  • Experience in developing credit scoring/decisioning models.

  • Strong problem framing and problem-solving skills.
