M365/Exchange Engineer-Workplace Applications (Hybrid)

Position Summary:
As an M365/Exchange Engineer – Workplace Applications, you will be part of innovative team that is responsible for the direction, engineering, maintenance, enhancement, availability, and support of the infrastructure technologies and supporting process around our email, productivity and collaboration solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Engineer and Implement solutions, upgrades, patches, and enhancements to email, productivity, and collaboration solutions and related products.
  
• Respond to and resolve escalated incidents and problems for email, productivity and collaboration solutions and related products.
  
• Develop, automate, execute, and continually improve processes to support the use of the workplace solutions.
  
• Perform research, develop requirements and recommendations for new technology.
  
• Handles most complex issues and initiatives
  
• Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for technologies
  
• Is able to take a technical lead role on projects and initiatives
  
• Serves as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  
• Knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
  
• Engineer experience with M365 email and collaboration solutions.
  
• Good planning and prioritization skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, risk assessment and management skills.
  
• Ability to work with minimal direction, flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and schedules, handle multiple issues simultaneously, and to manage stressful situations.
  
• Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and translate between various levels of associates (IT management, technical staff, business area customers, external parties).

• Knowledge of Citrix/Xenapp environment. This position will not support Citrix/Xenapp, but will need to understand how applications operate in this type of environment
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
  
  
  
• Engineering knowledge of M365 Collaboration, SharePoint and OneDrive, Global Relay, Smarsh, and AWS
  
• Experience with Proofpoint, Broadcom/Symantec.
  
• Ability to analyze requirements, design solutions and script or code customizations
  
  Similar to the M365 Exchange Senior Analyst position, but higher level of Engineer experience and Technical lead role
  
• Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines
  
• Solves complex problems
  
• Works independently, receives minimal guidance
  
• May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives
  
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  
  **This position will be in a hybrid working arrangement**

If you’re in a commutable distance (90 minutes) you’ll join us 2-3 days each week in our offices to collaborate and build relationships. Our policy allows flexibility for the reality of business and personal schedules. When working in our offices at least two days per week isn’t feasible (vacations, illness, travel, etc.), an eight day per month standard is an option.
  
  This position is remote eligible.
  
  Physical Job Requirements:
  
  
  
• Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 8 hours per day

• Ability to utilize telephone for up to 8 hours per day
  
• Ability to perform grasping tasks throughout the entire work day (examples: handwriting, grasping of equipment/machines, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, handling stacks of paper)
