Position Summary
This position is responsible for improving organization and/or employee effectiveness through successful talent management and change leadership. This role will impact culture development, individual and team performance, and drive change through organizational restructuring, developmental training and coaching, career management, workforce diversity, and strategic planning.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Project manage multiple design and development priorities to meet project deadlines and quality standards to ensure execution excellence
- Analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate informal and formal learning solutions/materials to meet organizational needs; demonstrate instructional design theory and adult learning principles to select the most appropriate strategy, methodologies, and technologies to maximize the learning experience and impact
- Capacity to coach individuals to achieve stretch goals, build effective teams, and reach organizational objectives with a proven track record of developing leaders
- Conduct learning needs assessments to identify organizational problems and/or performance gaps and determine the requirements of either the revision of existing learning and development programs or the development of a new solution contributing to new growth opportunities.
- Coordinate the details for leadership development sessions and facilitate with effective communication to engage learners throughout training and learning opportunities
- Partner with HR Business Leaders to serve and support stakeholders to drive business and people strategies to create tangible value
- Manage and support a Learning Management System (LMS) with videos, courses, and other training tools and ensure ongoing efforts to build the value of elearning tools/resources
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide feedback to management and leadership
- Support other assigned miscellaneous duties required for the team to optimally serve the business

Position Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business related field (Business Management, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
- 10 years or more of experience with leadership development training or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- 2 years or more of specific experience in Training, Leadership and Development, or Organizational Effectiveness
- Proven track record of developing leaders
- A valid driver’s license
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business related field (Business Management, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
- 12 years or more of experience with leadership development training or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- 5 years or more of experience in Training, Leadership and Development, or Organizational Effectiveness
- Experience working cross-functionally with other departments and stakeholders

- Strong computer skills experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and the ability to learn CAT/MacAllister/Michigan Cat systems
