Mach Industries is looking for an Business Development Associate to help sell our products to the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and America’s allies. This position reports to Mach’s Senior Vice President of Revenue, who is located in Austin, TX.
Developing clear value propositions for customers
Writing proposals
Supporting business development with government agencies and partners, including with senior government officials, c-suite executives, and other defense industry leaders
Writing white papers
Creating marketing materials
Creating detailed market analysis reports
Collaborating with other departments at Mach Industries, including Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Operations
Assisting with events and trade shows
Working with current customers to help solve their problems and ensure success
A strategic thinker who can quickly break down a customer’s problems and present a compelling value proposition
Exceptional writer
Exceptional at creating presentations
At least two years of experience in consulting, banking, technology, or within the US government
Skilled at building customer facing sales decks
Highly adaptive
US security clearance eligible
Experience in the military
Experience in US government contracting—specifically with UAVs or missiles
Active security clearance
An incredibly smart professional who loves breaking down complex problems to find patterns and opportunities, especially with experience in the weapons systems and defense spaces. You are also an exceptional writer. You have a love of the written word—including a clear, concise voice—and are a grammar snob. You are obsessive about the smallest details and only press send after you’ve thoroughly white gloved a document.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most offers and are considered part of Mach’s total compensation package.
