Role Summary:
Mach is seeking a highly organized Product Assembly Technician to join our team.. You will be involved in building mission-critical components for defense systems, contributing to advanced technologies that support national security. Our team is made up of talented, hardworking individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Build a variety of pilot and pre-production assemblies using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for mission-critical components, including high-voltage power systems and complex electromechanical assemblies.
Work independently on assigned projects while remaining flexible to daily task changes.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area, utilizing 5S best practices, and adhere to the firm’s safety protocols.
Run line trials for new products and processes, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production deliverables.
Provide feedback on assembly issues, driving continuous process improvements and solutions; pilot and lead Kaizen events as necessary
Assemble hardware for use on test stands, components, sub-level and full-level assemblies while maintaining rigorous documentation.
Perform teardown and test validation for new equipment/testers across multiple lines.
Assist engineers in investigating quality defects and test failures.
Mentor and support on-the-job training for production associates.
Perform self-inspections and in-process inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production or assembly environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong work ethic and motivated to support the mission of national defense.
Proficiency in operating multiple types of equipment and using basic hand tools (both electric and mechanical).
Team-oriented with strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to sudden changes in daily priorities.
Physical ability to lift 35 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in a pre-production pilot phase environment.
Understanding of bill of materials (BOM) and familiarity with MES systems.
Experience working in industrial or defense-related environments, including high-voltage systems or complex electromechanical assemblies.
Proficiency in electro-mechanical assembly and overmolding.
Familiarity with machining, welding, and mechanical craftsmanship.
Basic wiring and diagnostic experience.
Knowledge of mechanical component assembly and systems integration.
IPC J-STD, 610 certification.
Experience using forklifts
Previous experience with JIRA and MES software is a plus.
Exposure to lean manufacturing principles.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations.
