Machine Operator- Fabrication

Overview

Operate machines to punch, blank, or bend sheet metal into shapes

Essential Job Functions

• Use blueprints to perform quality checks.
• Inspect and oil equipment as needed
• Complete quality and safety paperwork.
• Turn the on and off machine as needed
• Check safety devices when needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping (5s)
• Identify differences and inconsistencies in parts or operation

+ Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to identify differences and inconsistencies in parts or operations (required)
• Ability to read blueprints (required)
• Machine operating experience 6 months (Required)
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Must have a good attendance record

Working Conditions
1st Shift 5:30 am to 4 pm Monday- Friday
2nd shift 4:00 pm to 2:30 pm Monday- Friday
Overtime on Saturday when required
Must be able to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance. Up to 25 pounds frequently
Drug Screening a Background will be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
