Chief People Officer (Madhive, Inc) (New York, NY):
Responsibilities:
Serve on the senior executive leadership team, accountable for directing change management efforts, interacts effectively with affiliated organizations and programs, and acts as a trusted internal and external business advisor
Act as a strategic advisor and participate in due diligence in considering and evaluating fundraising opportunities on behalf of Madhive
Partner with the Company Board of Directors to advise and formally approve leadership compensation to include equity, salary, and bonus pool allocation
Lead preparation of Madhive for pre-transaction phase with Equity Partners and Executive Leadership Team
Architect strategic plan to evaluate talent across the company and ensure there are no redundancies and up-level talent across the organization
Attend public and private engagements to raise awareness about the brand and scout potential new fundraising opportunities
Partner with internal and external legal counsel to review equity program and diversify the offers for an evolving organization
Lead and review research on new tools and software that is appropriate for a hyper-growth company
Lead the People and Culture department, developing and implementing human resources polices, implementing talent acquisition and retention strategies, updating corporate policies and practices in line with industry trends and regulations, overseeing office planning and equipment, and overseeing employee resource groups
Create a Talent Development program, overseeing staff training and development, implementing DEI best practices in hiring and recruitment processes, and maintaining cost-effective recruitment channels for diverse, talented employees
Manage performance evaluation system, maintaining market-competitive and compliant compensation ranges, advising senior leadership to ensure equitable pay practices and meet salary reporting requirements, overseeing benefits selection, and administering benefit programs including implementing required regulatory changes
Develop fair processes for conflict resolution and workplace investigations, anticipating emergent issues and developing legal solutions that are compatible with company mission and culture, overseeing records retention in accord, and ensuring organizational compliance with relevant government oversight
Qualifications
In order to complete the above-mentioned tasks, the following skills and experience are required:
Experience managing and scaling corporate teams
Experience working in Human Resources for high-growth technology companies
Experience representing employers at conferences and industry events, including public speaking
Experience representing companies at venture-level engagements
Experience and success with external industrial networking and business development
Experience with TriNet, Carta, Greenhouse, PerformYard, and HRCloud
Experience leading an HR organization through a successful and profitable financial transaction, scaling a company to significant growth
Experience overseeing implementation of employee resource groups
Experience performing due diligence on M&A activities to include reviewing employee documentation, legal documentation, and approve assessment for merger success
Experience creating M&A business integration plans
Experience reviewing and approving business contracts related to M&A activities
Experiencing acting as main POC for operational integration during a merger
Must have led office design, lease negotiations, execute office design for current and new work spaces
Experience participating and speaking on industry conference panels on behalf of a company
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Commerce or related field, and at least five (5) years of experience as a senior-level Human Resources Executive or related occupation.
Option to work from home partially is available. Salary: $238,098.00- $425,000.00/year.
