Responsible for the management and supervision of the Financial Counselors supporting the Personal Financial Counseling (PFC) program assigned to On Demand, Surge, and Camp events for Magellan Federal. Responsible for 1,000+ staffing events annually ensuring all PFCs have met training requirements prior to support. Provides strategic planning, quality management program development, outcomes management, and compliance monitoring of contractual standards and applicable federal/state regulations. Manages day-to-day quality activities ensuring program and procedures support company goals for service, quality, and cost effectiveness as well as compliance with contract, federal and state requirements.• Manages counselors for On Demand, Surge, and Camp events. Ensures the program information for PFCs is current and relevant to the assignment and the government’s needs. Develops the content to prepare and orient PFCs for their assigned events.• Provides direction and is responsible for a network of 100+ Assignment Ready Counselors (ARCs) and rotational PFCs in all aspects of service delivery, service effectiveness, and supervision of team assigned to PFC Events. Reviews and supervises the duty to warn reporting and restricted reporting processes to ensure service and family member safety and compliance with the special nuances of the Department of Defense (DoD) protocols.• Directs the Financial Counselors in their consultations with POCs and command regarding the effective handling of a wide range of requests to meet the needs of the stakeholders while staying within the scope of the PFC program.• Coordinates with POCs weekly for On Demand events on a worldwide basis to assure that PFC counselor/program is meeting the needs of the National Guard, Reserve component or camp locations and provides feedback to the PFC PMO.• Ensures each PFC is prepared to perform at a high level for each event and makes providers aware of trends and issues impacting the military. Manages the complaint process for short-term events. Investigates complaints and provides resolutions.• Works with Talent Acquisition to recruit and fill positions in hard-to-fill and high ops-tempo areas.
