Regional Vice President of Sales (West)
Role Description: As Regional Vice President of Sales, you will lead, develop, and execute a winning regional sales strategy that drives growth and expands our market presence. Your leadership will inspire a high-performing sales team, cultivate top-level client relationships, and establish a path for sustained success. This role is for a strategic, results-driven sales leader who excels at motivating teams and delivering impactful revenue outcomes.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will drive the following outcomes:
Drive Revenue and Market Growth: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets, focusing on new client acquisition and expanding existing customer relationships.
Lead and Develop a High-Performing Sales Team: Recruit, mentor, and manage a motivated sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement to consistently meet sales objectives.
Build Strategic Client Partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term business growth by understanding and addressing client needs.
Enable Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive regional sales success, enhance the customer experience, and align with company objectives.
Ensure Accurate Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Oversee regional sales planning, forecasting, and performance metrics, providing data-driven insights and regular updates to senior leadership.
Qualifications/Competencies/Skills:
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Proven Track Record: Consistent history of surpassing sales goals and leading high-performing teams.
Strategic Planning and Execution: Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to developing and executing strategic sales plans. Ability to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to create and adapt strategies that drive measurable outcomes.
Sales Metrics and Financial Acumen: Proficiency in key sales metrics, financial planning, and reporting tools. Experienced in forecasting, budgeting, and using insights to make data-driven decisions.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
Customer-Centric Approach: Dedication to delivering a positive client experience and fostering client success.
Experience:
8+ years in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership position, ideally in EdTech.
Lives in the Western US
