Job Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounting Intern will focus on specific projects that are required by the team to meet Magna requirements and support our overall team goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
· Assist with month-end financial reporting.
· Utilize computerized accounting software programs.
· Maintain financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
· Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Perform any other duties deemed appropriate for the position, as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma.
· Currently Attending a College or University.
· College Junior or Senior (or Master’s student) working toward a degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
· Proficient Computer knowledge and skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
· Proficient Communication skills (written and verbal).
· Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.
· Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
· This position will require a certain number of days in the Troy office.
