Overview:
Position Summary:
The Support Staff assist various departments within Gallagher's Service Center with e-mail, mailing, shipments and basic transaction processing.
Position Deatils:

40/hrs a week - Fully in office - 777 N. Rainbow Rd. Las Vegas

M-F 7:30am - 4pm
-
$15/hr
Responsibilities:
- Sends outgoing mail by utilizing postal procedures and various mail machines such as postage meters and collators.

Processes airfreight and overnight shipments. Monitors postage meter and other operating supplies to ensure availability.

Generates required paperwork. Plans and coordinates the forms and packets to be shipped.

Process e-mail boxes and handles basic transaction processing.

Inspects packaging to meet the shipping method requirements.

Documents each outgoing shipment.

Scans documents and other mail responsibilities.

Performs general shipping and receiving duties.
-
Assists in creation of variable print and sorting projects.

Performs live proofing of documents before mailing out.
-
Review data and mail files received from processors for accuracy prior to proceeding to sending off to other areas within the company.

Completes other duties as assigned.

Generate reports for internal customers as needed. Review and communicate results to leadership when necessary.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
High school diploma
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
-
Strong typing and basic computer skills
Preferred:
-
Working knowledge of MS systems, i.e., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Word
-
Keyboard, 10 key, general knowledge in MS office software and email
-
Familiarity with the use of Excel and spreadsheets
-
Detail-oriented and have excellent follow-through skills

Ability to work and accurately perform in a fast pace work environment

Ability to multi-task

Work well with others as part of a team, but able to work independently with limited supervision

Proven reliability – attendance and punctuality
