Essential Job Functions

• Sorts and transfers mail between the central mailroom and individual department locations, tracking deliveries as needed
• Prepares and addresses mail as needed to expedite the process
• Retrieves university mail from U.S. Post Office at the beginning of the day and drops off outgoing mail at the end of the day
• Logs, sorts and delivers mail through FedEx and other carriers
• Performs miscellaneous tasks including picking up supplies, forwarding mail, affixing postage to letters and packages, and assisting with stuffing and collating mailing materials
• Maintains electronic print and mail requests through the university intranet
• Provides reports on postal charges
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid U.S. driver's license

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
