Job Description:
At Regions, the Mailroom Specialist is responsible for the distribution of mail and delivery of material, either internally or externally.

Primary Responsibilities

Receives and sorts interoffice and external mail
Distributes mail and delivers material, either internally or externally, potentially via other sources (e.g., overnight express)
May work with courier services and maintain office supplies
May also work with the regional regulated postal service in keeping abreast of current requirements

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED

Preferences
Two (2) years of operations or related experience

Skills and Competencies
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Organization skills and attention to detail

This role requires occasional lifting of heavy packages and mail crates - up to 25lbs.

Hours of the role are Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm (slightly flexible)
