MaintainX is seeking a dynamic Events Marketing Specialist to play a critical role in enhancing our brand's presence through innovative marketing strategies and meticulous event execution. This person will develop and execute a comprehensive event marketing strategy in collaboration with the Senior Manager of Event Marketing. This position bridges creative marketing and practical logistics, requiring a candidate who is both a visionary planner and an efficient doer.
What you’ll do:
- Manage end-to-end event planning and coordination, from ideation to execution, for trade shows, product launches, conferences, and webinars.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product, to deliver a cohesive and impactful event experience.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of event-related marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and message alignment.
- Coordinate all event logistics, ensuring seamless operations from setup to teardown, contributing to a memorable attendee experience.
- Support the smooth operation of the event as part of the onsite team and manage communication with venue staff, vendors, partners, speakers, and MaintainX team members.
- Monitor and analyze event performance metrics, utilizing tools like Jira for project management and maintaining data-driven approaches for continuous improvement.
- Engage in lead generation and nurturing strategies, focusing on driving attendance, engagement, and, ultimately, revenue.
- Provide detailed reports on event outcomes, offering insights and recommendations to optimize future marketing efforts.
About you:
- Post-secondary education in marketing, business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in event marketing, preferably within a SaaS or software company environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to lead event briefing calls and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high attention to detail
- A proactive and independent work style, balanced with the ability to work cohesively within a team.
- Experience with CMMS, facility operations software, or a startup/entrepreneurial setting is a plus.
- Must have a valid passport/visa to travel across the United States and Canada
- Be able to travel 15% of the time
