Maintenance Mechanic 1st Shift

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Are you a self-starter who finds ways to improve existing processes and machinery? Keep reading as we are looking for a dynamic Maintenance Mechanic I to join our Fluke Electronics team here in Everett, WA.

As a Maintenance Mechanic at Fluke, you will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative and real-time maintenance on equipment to support the production of Fluke products.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic equipment
  • Move machinery and equipment, using hoists, pallet jacks, & forklifts
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to a PM schedule
  • Work from technical drawings or electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and the facilities team on various projects
  • Maintains appropriate licenses, training and/or certifications, as needed
  • Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from establishing operating procedures and/or scientific methods

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Computer literate, able to easily learn and use Computerized Maintenance Software
  • Skilled use of hand and power tools
  • Able to work with electronics (soldering & technical knowledge)
  • Basic plumbing skills for water hoses, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, works well in a team environment
  • Must build productive internal/external working relationships
  • Ability to handle high pressure, prioritize work, and understand impact of duties
  • Respond to metric/goal driven environment, take initiative to meet goals
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, operators, engineers and support staff.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of common manufacturing techniques
  • Ability to operate machining equipment
  • Associates level degree with education in the sciences and focus on Applied Science, Automotive Systems, Electrical Engineering or Electronics
  • Injection Molding Experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.99 - $25.28 per hour
