Maintenance Mechanic/Mold Tech I

POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Maintenance Mechanic/Mold Tech I, you will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining the Distribution Center/Warehouse equipment. This Maintenance Mechanic/Mold Tech I is expected to be pro-active and have the ability to perform their work at a high level with minimum supervision.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for following all Safety policies in compliance with Rain Bird Safety Standards and Programs

· Perform tasks effectively to increase Equipment Uptime and Reliability

· Support and execute Preventative Maintenance tasks/work orders.

· Provide troubleshooting skills to make mechanical/electrical repairs.

· Communicate issues/improvements/ideas between department members and Supervision.

· Responsible for reviewing Corrective Work Orders via Smartsheet’s or CMMS software and update as required.

· Work alongside the Distribution team in coordinating and resolving equipment issues.

· Work Weekend days as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

§ Follow Safety Policies and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.

§ High School Diploma or GED equivalent

§ Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent

§ Ability to perform electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.

§ Experience with conveyor systems/belt lines

§ Knowledge and experience with computers (Ability to research parts, machines, etc.)

§ Strong Work Ethic and ability to complete tasks timely.

§ Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.

§ Ability to work alongside all team members with an open mind and positive attitude.

§ Proven work history of illustrating professionalism

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

· Experience with Conveyors and other related equipment

· Electrical Knowledge and experience

· Problem solving experience.

· 5+ Years Industrial Maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.88 - $20.94 per hour
