Maintenance Technician

This night shift position at the Sulphur Springs, Texas plant is responsible for the installation, rebuilding, repairing and maintenance of specialized automated packaging and auxiliary equipment. Work includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting complex equipment, reading and interpreting manuals and work orders, maintaining a clean, safe work environment, and active participation in continuous improvement initiatives. Responsible for ensuring quality standards, adhering to GMPs and contributing to effective team interaction. Perform other duties as directed by supervisors. Pay rate is $29.01 per hour with $1.25 per hour shift differential for night shift.

REQUIREMENTS:

Three to five years' (or more) experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (food/bev industry preferred) or Electro/Mechanical Technologies/Equipment degree or certifications
High School diploma or GED preferred (post High School education a huge plus)
Excellent electrical, mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Active participation in continuous improvement and employee engagement initiatives
Solid reading, writing and math skills
Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills, leadership and initiative
PLC, Control Logix and knowledge/skills in HVAC are highly preferred
