Maintenance Worker - job 2 of 2

Job Purpose

Maintains and performs general repairs of buildings and maintains grounds.

Essential Job Functions

· Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from General Manager

· Maintains and repairs buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses, drywall repair and painting.

· Change out damaged AC/Heating unit.

· Maintains all fixtures and equipment according to preventative maintenance schedule

· Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies

· Maintenance of outdoor seasonal pool. All other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience

· Must be available to fix any urgent matters with short notice

Note: Looking for someone who can do 30-40 hours a week. The hours are flexible allowing you to create your own schedule. We ask that you make yourself available to the hotel for emergencies or pressing maintenance issues as much as possible

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
