Description:
The PAS Manager is responsible for managing, planning and overseeing all aspects of Access Services including front desk, registration, cashier, financial counseling, medical records, coding, scheduling, insurance verification and authorization, and up-front collections, to ensure efficient and timely access for all patients. Establishes programs, policies & procedures to maximize utilization of all available resources while maintaining high levels of quality, technology and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements policies in conjunction with Patient Accounts & Billing Office, Medical Records, Coding and Patient Services to provide quality care and maximize reimbursement for all services rendered. Prepares and analyzes management information and develops department goals and objectives. Performs all of these functions in a manner that complies with standards established by hospital or other administration, medical staff, and outside regulatory and accreditation agencies.
