Manager, BI & Client Reporting (REMOTE)

Primary Purpose

The Manager, Business Intelligence and Client Reporting will be responsible for managing the internal processes and resources of the enterprise reporting team, for executing on the Enterprise BI & Client Reporting team’s internal roadmap, and for supervising the team’s shared resources, assigning them to tasks and adjusting as needed.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a basic understanding of various Bright Horizons reporting systems.
  • Work independently with IT, stakeholders, and Product Analysts to investigate viability of department’s ability to meet reporting needs.
  • Oversee Salesforce ticketing process to ensure timely response to requests and to update the ticketing system to reflect current needs.
  • Manage shared team resources, including Qlik and automation developers, to ensure efficient and properly prioritized allocation and assignments
  • Own the enterprise reporting team’s documentation wiki by ensuring team members populate and/or modify documentation according to established protocols and requirements.
  • Assist senior director with roadmap management and review
  • Assist senior director with establishing and maintaining standardized report bundles, tracking costs associated costs for customizations, and cross-charging as needed.
  • Monitor and improve BI operations, automating processes where possible and identifying and correcting issues proactively
  • Work with senior director to improve the quality and speed of decision-making and inform new product development process by designing and implementing reports, dashboards, and presentations and analyzing customer and market data
  • Schedule and coordinate with other teams
  • Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including system access requests and adding to distribution lists
  • Drives knowledge sharing within and across verticals.

Regularly required to influence cross-functional teams

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business is preferred

Experience

5+ years hands-on experience with reporting and analytics solutions is required

Hands-on experience in creating dashboards, reports, analytics that support data driven decision making and support is preferred

Additional Job Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL, SSRS, and stored procedures preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex BI implementation projects
