The role:
As a member of our growing Finance team, the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will lead our Corporate FP&A team and gain valuable exposure to senior leadership. You'll build out and maintain Newsela's revenue, cash, and long-range financial modeling activities, which will be leveraged to make critical business decisions in support of long-term revenue growth. You will also manage the overall FP&A close process, enabling the entire FP&A team to gain efficiency and focus time on analytical activities that will help business leaders make more informed decisions. You will directly support the budgeting and forecasting for our G&A function, including Legal, HR, Finance, IT and Executive. Reporting to the Vice President, Financial Strategy & Operations, you will partner closely with Field FP&A, Accounting, Legal, HR, Executive and Financial Systems team members to improve our forecasting, build out and maintain our Adaptive Insights system and improve the reporting and analysis that Newsela delivers to key business partners.

Base compensation range: $150,000 - $160,000 at the Manager level. Total compensation for this role also includes incentive stock options and benefits. This compensation range and title may be adjusted based on actual experience.
