Manager - IT Quality Assurance

Main Purpose:

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

• 10 - 12 years of experience working in quality assurance groups
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent/relevant education
• Sound understanding of databases, writing SQL queries and UNIX system
• Preferred understanding of commodities trading or BFSI domain
• Good to have technical knowledge/know how of scripting/automation tools

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead efforts to enhance and work towards making the testing process more efficient
• Proficient in creating and reviewing test cases and test plans
• Exercise proven analytical and written/oral communication skills
• Build and enrich functional and domain knowledge
• Collaborate with QA leads to create and drive software quality goals
• Manage end to end testing activities for strategic target releases
• Work in a challenging and fast paced environment
• Demonstrate and maintain strong working relations with business analysis, development and business user groups
• Work with vendor partners to define test strategy and drive testing deliverables
• Monitor progress on testing deliverables and manage status reporting
• Owning E2E Testing activities including Functional, Integration etc.
