Key responsibilities:

This position will interface with Marketing, Design, Supply Chain, R&D support functions, worldwide New Product Implementation engineers and the vendor community, across all levels of leadership.

Extensive knowledge of supplier and emerging global packaging technologies is required. Must be consumer-driven, technically adept and commercially astute. This position requires effectively managing multiple priorities, with responsibility for technical sign off of high complexity projects. Must resolve complex problems relating to cost, quality and speed of implementation across multiple manufacturing sites. Approves pilot tooling, artworks, and mechanicals as well as package specifications. This leader needs to effectively work globally and have diversity and cross-cultural sensitivity.

7-10 years Packaging Development experience in a cosmetics, pharma or CPG industry and MS or BS degree in Package Engineering or related technical discipline (e.g., Chemical or Mechanical Engineering) with packaging experience

Requires in-depth knowledge of wide range of packaging technologies, processing, and decoration techniques. Must have proven ability to achieve results through developing people and influencing of others. Requires excellent organization, management and communication skills. Sustainable/circular packaging design experience is highly desired.
