JOB OVERVIEW
As the Manager of Treasury Reconciliation, you will be an integral member of the TreasuryOperations team, leading a team of professionals responsible for monitoring billions of dollars in customer funds. This position is expected to manage the team as they perform their daily tasks, oversee all Treasury reconciliation activities and provide cross-functional leadership.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, develop, and build a small to medium-sized team across multiple locations.
- Plan and oversee the team’s daily activities, ensuring all tasks are complete and defined objectives are met
- Continuously improve existing processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise and input for strategic initiatives.
- Design and implement new processes, as new requirements arise.
- Consistently demonstrate Avid core values, setting an example for your team and others to follow.
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- 3 years demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and build a team in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting reconciliation practices.
- Cross-functional leadership experience in designing and implementing processes.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Appropriate level of soft skills needed to successfully execute the position’s duties : business acumen, problem solving, understands complex ideas, and honesty.
- Demonstrated history of a customer-focused mindset.
- Demonstrated history of drive, integrity, accountability and superb work ethic.
Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience.
- Prior history of continuous improvement as a general practice.
- Intermediate MS Office abilities… Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
- Demonstrated history of applying technical skills or managing resources that result in innovative solutions to current or pending problems.
- Ability to lead a cross-functional team from current state to a desired future state.
- Ability to define a project plan and manage a cross-functional project from start to finish.
- Experience in helping to define a team’s strategic direction and taking the necessary steps to reach the desired state.
