ROLE TITLE: Manager, Operations (Full-Time)

WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Manager, Operations is an essential member of the Field Impact & Integration team focused on ensuring their teammates have what they need to do their jobs to accelerate impact across communities. You manage key operational functions such as team finance and compliance, add administrative capacity to three senior executives, and provide ad-hoc project-based support across the field team and in regions. You build thriving relationships across the enterprise and can leverage those relationships to get things done. In this role you refine your operational strategy and skill set on a high volume, high impact team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
In year 1 you will:
Theme 1: Finance & Purchasing System Management (20%)
Serve as team budget tracker, managing team towards non-payroll spending target
Track and forecast team’s non-payroll spending throughout the year
Serve as team buyer and manage team towards compliant purchasing
Manage overall team financial compliance
Theme 2: Compliance Management & Reporting (10%)
Create team facing compliance systems and structures
Set, invest, and manage team towards strong compliance metrics
Monitor compliance dashboard and refine systems to strengthen organizational compliance
Theme 3: SVP Operational & Finance Support (30%)
Provide administrative support and calendaring at the monthly, quarterly, and annual level for three senior executives
Track and manage all aspects of SVP spending, including entering expenses
Manage all aspects of SVP travel accommodations
Provide ad-hoc operational support to SVPs for meeting execution and follow-up
Theme 4: Project-Based Team Support (30%)
Ensure 100% of field based listservs are up to date at all times
Support team-based culture management strategy
Provide operational support to team tasks and projects as needed
Add short-term operational capacity to 1-3 regional teams at any given time
Theme 5: Organizational Leadership & Contribution (10%)

Each week our team will focus on the most pressing work to advance change across our communities and towards our 10YG. Our team’s priorities will be responsive to the needs of the field and transparent. As needs change, so will our priorities and members of our team need to be prepared and willing to shift work as needed.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role (minimum qualifications):
2+ years of professional experience and a track record of success in roles requiring strong relationship building, executive support, and financial management
Previous project management experience
Previous experience working with mission-driven non-profits and mission-driven for-profits

The NEW Field Impact & Integration Team is comprised of ~45 Executive Directors (EDs), ~16 Impact/Integration Team Leaders and ~20 Learning Team Leaders. We are organized in 4 sub-teams that work together and in partnership with our Program/Product Impact Teams (ex: C4, Alumni Career Center, Ignite) and our Capability Teams (ex: Recruitment, Technology, Equity & Belonging) to deliver on promises of impact to communities and students. YOUR COMPENSATION
The applicable salary range for each U.S.-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 3 tiers according to a cost of labor index in that geographic area. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary ranges for this role are set forth below. These ranges may be modified in the future.
SALARY:
Tier A: $55,700 to $83.500
Tier B: $60,700 to $91,000
Tier C: $65,700 to $98,500
